If you’re worried about University, then why not try the easy-going lifestyle of stunning Cornwall? Every student journey is unique to the individual, and we’re here to make it that little bit easier to maintain the harmonious study-life balance

With much smaller class sizes that allow each student plenty of 1-1 personal support from the tutors and the opportunity to fit your life around your lectures, anyone can easily discover University Courses with Truro and Penwith College.

The Courses on offer are easily accessible to students of all ages and most only require a minimum of 24-32 UCAS Points - that’s equivalent to one A Level at grade D-C.

Budding traveller and graduating BA (Hons) Education and Training student, Aimie Keane battled with her passions before fully committing to her degree course as a late applicant.

Aimie said: “I made a late decision about coming to study for my degree. I caught the travelling bug and desperately wanted to travel the world but I sensibly thought that I should set myself up with a degree first. I went for an interview at several Colleges but I was truly blown away by the support available at Truro College. I am so glad that I’ve come here, it’s been the best year of my education so far and I have really been able to push myself to achieve the best, all thanks to my lecturer. Now I’ve completed my degree, I’m all set to go into teaching as a profession and I’m planning to study my Initial Teacher Training next.”

It just goes to show that you don’t always have to stick to your original plan, there is the option to make changes to your journey. Not only that, but experienced lecturers are also dedicated to helping each student to achieve their goals, supported by strong links with Plymouth University and Pearson.

It is not too late to apply; there are still places available on courses starting this year. Subject courses include specialisms in Archaeology, Community Studies, Business, Law, Sports Rehabilitation and Childhood Studies. We also offer a range of creative subjects such as Silversmithing and Jewellery and Media Moving Image.
