Try tasty dishes such as the homemade quiche with side salad and over roasted potatoes or the roasted winter bake full of butternut, apple, red onion, stilton, seeds and pine. Make sure to try a cocktail or even indulge in the Prosecco tasting tray’ with friends.

Enjoy a taste of Asia at this Nepalese cuisine restaurant, positioned nearby Truro Cathedral. For lovers of Nepalese and Indian cuisine this is a perfect spot to dine: tuck into starters such as a Sheek Kebab and main dishes including Chicken Nepal’, a medium hot dish with exotic sauces and Kukhara Masala’, a mild dish made up of off the bone chicken marinated in herbs and spices, among many others to suit all tastes.

From its humble beginnings as a pop-up restaurant in a 30 foot shipping container, Hubbox has grown and now has multiple successful restaurants around Cornwall and Devon. Hubbox is home to a variety of quirky foodie treats, like the Mack Daddy’ burger, a flavoursome bun filled with grilled mackerel, beetroot jam and horseradish with wild rocket. Truro’s own is located in the grade II listed Wesleyan Chapel with unique interiors, offering tasty craft beers as well as inventive cocktails, milkshakes and soft drinks.

Take a trip into the past with the Victorian interiors and splashes of retro wallpaper at the Truro Lounge. We recommend the butternut squash, lentil and coconut curry or the chicken, bacon and avocado burger. If you still have room then treat yourself to the delicious triple-stacked buttermilk pancakes or enjoy their spin on the classic sticky toffee pudding.

The Old Ale House

Known for being a true Cornish pub, The Old Ale House boasts an extensive menu full of tempting dishes and tasty ales. Enjoy Mediterranean vegetable gnocchi or perhaps the BBQ beans from their skillet menu alongside a pint of Betty Stoggs (a copper ale) or Porthleven (a paler, zingier ale).
