Set in the historic port of Charlestown, Atishoo is a family run gallery and picture framers. Established in 2003 by artist Liz Hackney it has gained a reputation for its bright and quirky arts and crafts,most of which arecreatedin the West Country.The gallery is the main outlet for artist Paul Clark who can sometimes be found painting on site. His oil and acrylic paintings on canvas are very popular. Also on show are fascinating paintings by Duporth Bay artist Alan Arthurs who works with enamel paints onto perspex and wood creating highly detailed illustrative pieces often depicting the historic workings of Charlestowns harbour.
Atishoo is full of interesting crafts including pottery, textiles, glassware and jewellery, and offers a bespoke picture framing service from its onsite workshop.
Open throughout the summer Monday - Saturday, 10am 4 pm (sometimes later) closed on Sundays.
Located opposite the old Charlestown Chapel.
