The spookiest time of the year is fast approaching! We pick some of the best events to celebrate Halloween in Cornwall in 2017

For children:


Little Monster’s Ball Halloween Disco, Eden Project

• 28 October, 6pm – 9pm

• Fancy dress party for children

• Disco with Rave-A-Rooe and DJ Spookmonster Mash

• Fire dancing and acrobatics

• Trick or treat trail around the biomes

• Ice skating

• Tickets: £7.50 per person; children under 3 years old may attend for free

The Garrack’s Halloween Fancy Dress Party, St Ives

• 27 October from 6pm

• Fancy dress party at the Poolside Bar

• Prize for best fancy dress and carved pumpkin

• Tickets are £5.00 for children (this includes a buffet); adults attend for free and hot curries will be available on the night

Halloweek at Camel Creek, Camel Creek Adventure Park

Halloween Disco at Paradise Park, Hayle

• 27 October, 3pm – 6pm

• The Halloween Disco includes a fancy dress competition, JungleBarn play and spooky treats including pumpkin soup

Murder Mystery at The Jamaica Inn, Bodmin

• 26 October

• Professional actors play out a murder for guests to solve over the evening

• There is a three course meal

• Prizes are given to the three guests that successfully guess the murderer

• Tickets: £35.00 (and include the three course meal)

After Dark experience at Bodmin Jail

• Takes place regularly but extra spooky around Halloween (29, 30, 31 October)

• Explore the jail throughout the night in the company of Bodmin Jail’s Resident Medium

• Learn about the jail’s history

• Basic tutoring on Reiki and energy management

• Three course meal with ‘inmates’

• Event begins at 845pm and ends at 5am the next morning

Halloween Masked Ball at Flambards, Helston

• October 28, 6pm – 6am

• Seven deadly sins theme

• Multi-level party that includes hidden bars, discos, dance floors, dens and raves

• Over 60 artists performing throughout the night

• Music genres include techno, rock and dance

• Ticket prices start at £54.00

Halloween Scare Experience at Pirates Quest, Newquay

• October 27, timeslots available from 7pm

• Walk-through scare experience

• Explore caves and coves inside Pirates Quest filled with a number of gruesome finds and frightening characters (played by scare-actors)

• Event becomes scarier and scarier as the night goes on so this is an adults only experience

• Fancy dress optional
