It’s fair to say Cornwall boasts many beautiful places to stay, but The Rosevine, tucked away on the idyllic Roseland Peninsula, is a bit special

Good to know

The Rosevine is offering seasonal offers throughout the year; the Great Spring Escape, a break for adults, includes a complimentary dinner each evening (available throughout February, March and May) and the Tinys and Toddlers break for families with pre-schoolers includes three nights’ accommodation combined with dinner on two nights (available throughout the year excluding school holidays).

Lookout which offers complete flexibility for up to four adults and four children and has its own garden.

The Roseland Peninsula boasts amazing views, stunning countryside and at The Rosevine you can be assured of a warm welcome in beautiful surroundings.

From the moment you enter the elegant Georgian manor house, affectionately known as ‘The Big House by The Sea’, and head to the cosy drawing room with its wood burning stove, you feel relaxed and ready to enjoy this heavenly slice of the county.

Not a hotel, but not self-catering either, it offers a combination of both, all in a beachside setting. Guests can use The Rosevine as a home from home, to come and go as they please with their own keys to the front door (sadly these have to be returned at the end of the stay). Each of the 12 spacious apartments and studios have a mini-kitchen for preparing a quick bite to eat (there’s an in-house deli menu), a living/dining area and a box of toys to keep younger guests occupied.

Alternatively head downstairs where there is a bar area and a light airy restaurant, with Lloyd Loom furniture and stunning sea views, overseen by Head Chef Tim Pile who favours local and seasonal produce, simply cooked to make the most of the flavours. The restaurant is perfect for anything from relaxed lunches and dinner to group and family get-togethers.

"The Roseland also welcomes non-residents, it has a ‘swim and lunch’ special offering free use of the heated indoor pool followed by lunch in the restaurant and a loyalty card for locals"

Once a much-loved family home, The Rosevine is now an adored holiday hideaway for many families, groups of friends and wedding parties. Celebrating its sixth successful year, owners Tim and Hazel Brocklebank have created a winning mix of private self-contained spaces for guests to stay in, with shared spaces for guests to mix in, all with one of Cornwall’s most stunning beaches at the end of the garden. The interiors have been beautifully decorated and feature a mix of old and restored painted French pieces of furniture, alongside more modern finds, a wonderful antidote to traditional hotels.
