Autumn is upon us and the nights are drawing in, making it the perfect time to light your candles and get cosy - with St Eval Candles.

Handmade in Cornwall, St Eval Candle Company candles are unique with scents inspired by the company’s Cornish roots and earthy designs, using traditional candle making methods.

St Eval Candle Company was founded 20 years ago by Tim and Sara Young-Jamieson, looking for a way to diversify their farm. The company sells to a wide and loyal stockist base all over the UK and beyond. The ethos has always been to produce the best quality candles in the traditional way and use the most fabulous fragrances possible. From the classic church pillar candles to dining candles, candles in tins and pots to reed diffusers and now soaps and room sprays, everything St Eval produce has been made with the utmost care, not just the product but for the environment too.

Based as on a traditional working farm, and surrounded by fields and hedgerows all teeming with wildlife, environmental issues are a vital part of their business and they are always working towards reducing our impact on the environment. In 2011 the company erected the UK’s quietest wind turbine, in 2013 the workshop roof was fitted with PV Solar Panels and they’ve since installed a Biomass boiler.

All the lovely packaging is also sourced from recycled materials and they do everything to minimise the waste we produce. When you purchase from us you are supporting our local economy – even as a small company we are a vital player in Cornwall and are very proud to contribute to the growth of our economy,’ say the Young-Jamiesons.

Head to the shop at St Eval HQ which has recently been totally revamped and is a popular destination for St Eval devotees on holiday in Cornwall.
