Join the finest island producers in the Scillies including bakers, fisherman, growers, chefs, sommeliers and farmers, for a two-day culinary extravaganza that is Tresco & Bryher Food & Drink Festival 2015 on 12 and 13 September.
Expect the freshest produce made and grown on and around the islands will be on parade over the two days with Tresco hosting the festivities on the Saturday followed by neighbouring isle, Bryher, on the Sunday.
During the weekend special menus will be available across Tresco and Bryher’s eateries including the Hell Bay Hotel favourite - Crab Shack. World-renowned Abbey Garden on Tresco will also be hosting an exclusive Al fresco dining experience: Tresco Beef and Lobster will be served with Prosecco under the exotic canopy of the beautiful Mediterranean Terrace.
Pasta-making and fish-filleting demonstrations, wine tasting classes and garden tours from island experts will also be on offer.
Among the many producers exhibiting are Tresco Beef, St Martin’s wine, Ales of Scilly, Bryher-based Island Fish and St Martin’s Salt. This year’s festival will also see debut appearances from Scilly Maid Chocolates and confectioner Abbi’s Kitchen, both from St Mary’s, and Veronica Farm from Bryher will be showcasing its new herbs and sauces range.
