Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival returns to the beautiful grounds of Healey’s Cyder Farm on Friday 9 - Sunday 11 September 2016. A three-day event fusing live music, secret cider walks, pig racing, a silent disco and glamping in hobbit huts, Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival has quickly become one of the most magical experiences in the Cornish calendar. Moving into its fourth year, the festival is thrilled to announce REEF as official headliners, and welcomes back the BBC Introducing Stage.

Taking up residence in Cornwall’s very own working cider farm, Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival is the ultimate September weekend for the whole family. Jam-packed with a variety of things to see and do from morning through to night, there’s a lot more to this boutique festival than just apples.

Taking to the stage on Saturday evening and no strangers to the southwest, are festival veterans REEF. Having enjoyed worldwide success with hits including Place Your Hands’ and Naked’ the four-piece band are looking forward to entertaining a cider-loving crowd. Other confirmed acts appearing on the main stage throughout the weekend include Kernow King, Sound of the Sirens, Martin Harley, Belfast Busker and Mad Dog Mcrea. Revealing the regions rising stars, the BBC Introducing Stage will showcase Cornwall’s freshest talent with a string of live performances across the three-day event. Keeping festivalgoers dancing until the early hours, the onsite silent disco will serve up an eclectic mix of tunes each evening. From rock and pop through to hip-hop and R&B, the silent disco caters to all music tastes.

New for 2016, The Little Orchard Feast Village, is set to satisfy hungry festival bellies with its wide range of delicious dishes catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Home to a selection of different food traders from around the county, the feast area will exhibit Cornwall’s finest producers. Food lovers can also reserve a table at one of the dedicated festival feast nights’. Dining at the edge of the orchard, surrounded by trees, iconic local chefs are on hand to cook up a mouth-watering banquet for guests.

No cider festival is complete without cider, and with over 100 different options to choose from, festivalgoers will undoubtedly be spoilt for choice. Those with a keen interest to learn more about the local tipples can book a spot on one of the many secret cider walks that take place throughout the weekend.

The farm itself turns into a giant playground during the festival weekend to ensure all children, both big and small, are kept well entertained. Tractor rides, pig racing, face painting, circus workshops, arts and crafts sessions and bouncy castles all feature on the agenda.

Camping options don’t get more exciting than what Little Orchard has to offer. The unique Hobbit Huts combine glamping with a fantasy world of dwarves, dragons, trolls and wizards. A magical retreat for renewing festival sparkle, the handcrafted huts come fully equipped with a comfortable bed with bedside table, heating, lighting, a campfire pit with outside furniture and a specially designed boot stand for muddy festival wellies.

 Other exciting additions to this year’s festival include an eco spa area featuring wood fire hot tubs, a sauna yurt and a Bedouin’ chill out lounge.
