As well as a variety of watersports available the centre also offers land based activities for those who prefer to stay dry, including climbing and archery.
In addition to the Outdoor + Active centre there is also a circular walk around the lake which is just under 5 miles long. There is also a cycleway along the northern shore, and public footpaths may be accessed from the western shore for longer walks. With over five and a half miles of bank, walkers and bird watchers can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and bird hides. There is also a brand new childrens play area overlooking the lake making this site perfect for the whole family.
If you enjoy fishing then you will be interested to know that this majestic water, one of Englands most westerly trout fisheries, is regularly stocked with rainbow trout and contains a natural head of brown trout. Fly fishing only, from both bank and boat.
Overlooking the beautiful Stithians Lake you can enjoy fine Italian coffee, home-made cakes and light lunches at Cafe Nova. Popular with walkers and families, this is also the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of watersports or trout fishing. Groups, including coach parties, are most welcome.

With 40 pitches (including ten electric hook-ups), modern showers, toilets and wash-up facilities and stunning and unrivalled views across this 275 acre lake, this site is a real gem.
