Hall for Cornwall presents the award-winning Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

The National Theatre’s multi award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is making its Cornish debut at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro from Tuesday 7 to Saturday 11 July 2015 as part of a nationwide tour.

Winner of seven 2013 Olivier Awards, the National Theatre’s production is based on the award-winning novel by Mark Haddon, adapted by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott.

Christopher, 15, has an extraordinary brain - exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion of killing Mrs Shears’ dog, it taken him on a journey that upturns his world…Simon Stephens’ adaptation of Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time received seven Olivier Awards in 2013, including Best New Play, Best Director, Best Lighting Design and Best Sound Design. As well as being on this major tour, the show is concurrently running at the Gielgud Theatre in London and on Broadway. The New York production was recently nominated for six prestigious Tony Awards (announced 7 July), including Best New Play, Best Direction and Best Scenic Design.
