The rain do rain
The wind do blow
We only pray we dont get snow
But what ever the weather
We dont get it below
Underground tis the place to go
October has an explosive start with the Blues Brothers Banned on the 1st, whose energy levels will rock Carnglaze! High energy ten piece show band with a twist return to the Caverns with their jam-packed show of music and mayhem. Hits from the cult Blues Brothers and Commitments films feature throughout their performance punctuated with R&B, soul, swing and ska in a quirky mix of classics and contemporary tuneage. The Banned work in anything from their own reggae-style take on the Scrubs theme to Rappers Delight .
Blues Brothers Banned regularly play venues and outdoor events all over the UK, have toured Ireland and packed out Londons legendary Hard Rock Caf, Pigalle Club and The 100 Club where Ryan Molloy, lead of the award winning West End musical Jersey Boys, joined them on stage.
Last year they played the EICC at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Cork Jazz Festival.
Come on down to Carnglaze to party with you, me, them, everybody.
After years of asking we finally have Martin Turners Wishbone Ash on Friday 7th October, which will be delightfully nostalgic. Forty years later, founding original member Martin Turner celebrates the 40th anniversary of Wishbone Ashs formation with theLife Beginstour. With a line-up featuring guitarists Ray Hatfield and Danny Willson, and drummer Dave Wagstaffe, Martin Turners Wishbone Ash remains faithful to the original Wishbone Ash blueprint and promises a show which focuses on material from the classic eras of Wishbone Ash, featuring stage favourites mixed with classic album tracks.
