A decadent one-night festival of gin, live music, burlesque and fire dancing is returning to the Scorrier House Estate near Redruth next month
The Secret Gin Garden will return to Scorrier House Estate on Friday 17 August. The annual event plays host to an evening of enchanting performances by the Electric Swing Circus and The Allergies.
Guests will begin their evening with a three-course meal showcasing Cornwall’s finest local produce and a side serving of delicious gin infused cocktails. They will dine within the four walls of a derelict horse shed by a roaring open fire as onsite chefs from the Wild Wine Club cook up a feast for the intimate, candle-lit banquet.
The Return of the Secret Gin Garden builds on the ever-popular area that appears each year at The Great Estate Festival.
Commenting on the new event, Festival Directors Ian Whittaker and Ben Hall stated: “After The Great Estate Festival this year, we decided we wanted to run a smaller event at Scorrier House and came up with the idea of ‘Return of the Secret Gin Garden’. We think everyone will agree that the Secret Gin Garden is one of the most loved corners of The Great Estate and that’s why we’ve decided to bring back our little juniper berry flavoured garden for a one-night extravaganza this August.”
Tickets for The Return of the Secret Gin Garden are currently on sale priced at £25.00 (plus £2.50 booking fee). Camping is also available with pitches priced at £10.00 (plus £1.00 booking fee). Parking permits can also be purchased via the website.
