The Coast is Clear art exhibition is heading to The Byre Gallery this summer

This summer, the Byre Gallery on the Rame Peninsula celebrates the Cornish coastline - that ever changing boundary where the land ends and the sea begins
Art from two of Cornwall's most exciting artists Siobhan Purdy and Susan Kinley are at the centre of this vibrant exhibition at the Byre Gallery for summer. The Byre gallery is situated on the wild and often over-looked Rame Peninsula in south east Cornwall which is known for the twin fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand and the beautiful sweep of beach at Whitsand Bay.
The Byre gallery is the brainchild of Elaine Dye, who after a career in arts, media and the BBC, took an MA in Curating. Graduation coincided with the completion of a renovation project which turned some dilapidated Cornish barns into a home with gallery space attached. Elaine curates five exhibitions a year and has built up a loyal following of art devotees who travel hundreds of miles every year to see her pick of the best artistic talent from Cornwall and beyond.
The show will also feature work in ceramics, glass, jewellery and textiles from many of the Byre Gallery's regular artists and makers, including Lucy Burley, Sophie Harding, Rebecca Harvey, and Chris Taylor.
