Enjoy breathtaking walks along the Cornish coast, surf off stunning sandy beaches, or simply relax in your 5-star accommodation. Welcome to The Park at Mawgan Porth, where you’ll discover Cornwall at its very best...
Arriving at The Park, it’s easy to see why this beautiful place has found its way into the hearts of so many regular visitors ‘We have guests who have stayed in the same lodge or cottage every year for many years,’ admits manager Philip Niemand as we tour one of their luxurious architect-designed eco terraces (pictured left). ‘People book their next year’s holiday as they leave. We’re really lucky that so many of our visitors keep coming back.’
But a look at some of the accommodation and activities on offer, show luck has less to do with it than the hard work and thoughtfulness that has gone into every inch of the place. There are eco lodges featuring every luxury, beach houses, 5-star holiday cottages, family lodges (and that includes four-legged family members) and even rather charming traditional caravans. All the accommodation has been interior designed, with the owner adding delightful pieces of art, furniture and décor.
And if you are looking for something a little unusual, you won’t be disappointed -
head for one of their 1950s-style Airstream caravans, complete with wind-up windows, or try the Yurt Village, which features four luxury yurts, a communal yurt for hoedowns with the neighbours, and even an outdoor hot tub.
Sitting just a short walk from stunning Mawgan Porth beach on the North Cornwall coast, The Park is in a great location for surfing, walking the coast path, or simply walking the dog. If you want to explore further afield, head up to Watergate Bay and its expansive beach, offering watersports and great places to eat - including Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant. Also within easy reach is gastronomic Padstow, a popular historic Cornish fishing port, which is home to both Rick Stein’s and Paul Ainsworth’s famous restaurants
Back at The Park there are brilliant facilities, including heated indoor and outdoor pools, a steam room and sauna, and a kids’ play area. There’s also a fantastic eatery, with the menus of a restaurant but the prices and relaxed environment of a café - the chefs source delicious local produce and bake wonderful homemade breads and pastries. This really is a gem of a holiday destination.
