Old Lanwarnick are celebrating their second Gold tourism award in 2011/12 by installing 3D televisions in its luxury barns.
Old Lanwarnick are celebrating their second Gold tourism award in 2011/12 by installing 3D televisions in its luxury barns. The latest gold award was presented by the renowned travel journalist, Simon Calder at the South West Tourism awards on 6th February at the ceremony in Torquay which follows their Gold in the Cornwall Tourism Awards in October.
Old Lanwarnick, which is listed in the doomsday book, blends ancient history with luxury, modern day living. Completely renovated from derelict during the last 3 years, the five barn conversions, which sleep from 6-2 people now feature state of the art, 40 and 50 flat-screen, 3D TVs plus Blu-ray DVD players and a collection of 3D DVDs.
Combine this with the hot tub barn featuring light show, pop-up speakers and views, beauty treatments, gym with vibro-plate the ability to bring your dog and even your horse on holiday free of charge, makes Old Lanwarnick a truly outstanding self-catering holiday destination.
Owners Joanna Somerset-Wood and Mike Harvey said Although we have already invested heavily in converting Old Lanwarnick and giving it a new life for the 21st Century, we are committed to constantly improve our offering to our guests.
