The Cornwall and Devon Countryman's Fair is here again, on Sunday 5th August at its stunning venue of Werrington Park, Launceston PL15 8TR. Gates open at 9.30 am, for a fun packed family day out

The Cornwall and Devon Countrymans Fair is here again, on Sunday 5th August at its stunning venue of Werrington Park, Launceston PL15 8TR. Gates open at 9.30 am, for a fun packed family day out, featuring in the main ring, Knights of Middle England, the legendary Chris Green Wildfowler, Gundog Display, Falconry demonstrations, Terrier Racing, Hound Parade, and Bideford Youth Pipe Band. Admission is 8.00 for Adults, Children under 14 - 4.00 and free parking.

The whole family can be entertained with a traditional country day out, including a dog show, ferret racing, fly casting, clay shoot, canoeing on the lake at Werrington Park, all make for a great day out.

We have a huge number of trade stands again this year, with full catering and licensed bars on site, country skills and crafts and the delights of the fairground. The Countrymans Fair has distributed over 250,000 to local charities since its inception in 1982. In 2010 they gave 23,500.00 to their chosen charities, and this year in 2012 proceeds will benefit Phoenix Stroke Appeal, and many other local charities.
