The search is on to find parents, staff and children for Happy Days Playbox nursery in Truro for a reunion ball to celebrate 25 years in Childcare
This year marks 25 years in childcare for Happy Days Playbox Nursery located opposite County Hall in Truro. The nursery is holding a black tie reunion ball at The Atlantic Hotel in Newquay on Saturday 18th May 2013 to celebrate. Invited are all existing and previous parents of the nursery and all staff past and present. Given the 25 years time span the nursery is also keen to hear from children who may have attended the nursery over twenty years ago and who are now adults.
The Playbox Charity Spring Ball is to raise money for Childrens Hospice South West and is set to be a high quality celebratory event. The dress code is black tie and guests will enjoy a five course meal with drinks and canaps on arrival. The evening will also include entertainment and a charity raffle.
Karen Tonkin, Playbox Nursery Manager says; Playbox for me and my staff has a special place in our hearts and we wanted to thank all the parents, children and staff who have been involved with Playbox and made the nursery feel more like an extended family over the last 25 years. The Ball is also an opportunity to raise money for a charity that can make a difference and change familys and childrens lives. We are very excited about the event and want as many people as possible to come forward and enjoy a reunion and share happy memories.
